In Windows 10, the default folder when opening File Explorer is Quick Access. I prefer to view My Computer whenever I open File Explorer and fortunately in Windows 10, that can easily be achieved.
To see This PC instead of Quick Access when you open File Explorer, open Windows Explorer:
Click View, then click on Options and finally click Change folder and search options:
On the General Tab, next to Open File Explorer to, choose This PC:
Remember to click OK to save your options, then close the File Explorer window and upon re-opening it you will have This PC as your default folder:
