Take a Screen-shot in Windows

Many people don't know how easy it is to create a screen-shot in Windows.

Look for the PrtScn key located on the upper right side of your keyboard (you should see it after the F12 key). Now click the PrtScn key once. That's it, you've just taken a screen-shot of your desktop (no kidding). You're probably thinking, “Okay, great, now how do I make the screen-shot appear?”

OpenOffice.org: Simply Perfect

Recently my sister-in-law called me with the following problem: her daughter had a Word Document that she needed to work on for homework, but she could not get Microsoft Office to run because the version that came with her Dell PC was asking for a product key and she was having trouble locating it. I told her to try OpenOffice.org instead of rummaging through the house looking for the missing product key.

There is a major security update for Flash Player that you need to install if you haven't done so already. Flash Player is vulnerable to a nasty Clickjacking issue that is affecting all browsers. Adobe is categorizing the vulnerability as critical and advising all users to update promptly.
